Daily Dhikr

A man said: “O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), indeed, the legislated acts of Islam have become too much for me, so inform me of a thing that I should stick to.” He (ﷺ) said: “Let not your tongue cease to be moist with the remembrance of Allah.”

Beautiful Praise Of Allah

Anas Ibn Maalik, Allaah be pleased with him, reported The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) passed by a Bedouin man and he was making Dua in his Salah. The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) liked it and stopped to listen to him. And he heard the man saying:

(O You whom no eyes have seen, no mind can comprehend, no describer can depict, and no effect can change, He who fears not from the change of events. He knows the weight of the mountains, the measure of the oceans, the count of rain drops, the number of leaves on the trees, the amount of things which are concealed by night, and those things upon which the  sun shines. Nothing is concealed from Him; not the Heavens, nor the Earth, nor the seas and their deep corners, nor the mountains and their pathless terrain; O Allah [I ask] that you make the end of my life the best part, my last deeds the best ones and that you make the best of days the day in which I meet you.)

Thereafter Rasulullah (sallallahu’alayhi wasallam "S.A.W") sent someone to fetch him saying “ When he finishes praying bring him to me.” When he finished praying, he brought him. Rasulullah (s.a.w)  had been given some gold as a gift, so when the bedouin came he (sallallahu’alayhi wasallam) gave it to him. The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu’alayhi wasallam) said “O bedouin, Where are you from?” He replied “From Bani ‘Amir bin Sasa’ah, O Messenger of Allah”.  He (s.a.w) said “Do you know why I gave you this gold?” He said: “because of the lineage between us O Messenger of Allah”. Rasulullah (sallallahu’alayhi wasallam) said: “Lineage has its rights but I gave you this gold because of your wonderful praising of Allah”.

Whoever says it during the day with firm belief in it and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise. And if anyone says it during the night with firm belief in it and dies before the morning, he will be from the people of Paradise.

It has been narrated from Abū Sa‘īd al-Khudrī (raḍiy Allāhu ‘anhu) that one day, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the masjid. He saw a man from the Ansār called Abū Umāmah (raḍiy Allāhu ‘anhu). He ﷺ asked: “What is the matter? Why are you sitting in the mosque when it is not the time for prayer?” He replied: “Never-ending worries and debts, O Messenger of Allah.” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then asked: “Shall I not teach you words by which, when you say them, Allah will remove your worries, and settle your debts?” He replied: “Yes of course, O Messenger of Allah.” He ﷺ said: “Say in the morning and evening [the below].” Abū Umāmah (raḍiy Allāhu ‘anhu) said: “Then I did that and Allah removed my worries and settled my debts.”
